RCM Centric is a dynamic and growing medical billing and IT company. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT and Networking Specialist to join our team. As our IT and Networking Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and optimizing the performance of our office. You will manage various aspects of our IT systems, inventory, and networking, ultimately ensuring that all employees can work efficiently and seamlessly.
Job Duties:
- Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Keep track of IT equipment and supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely hardware and software procurement.
- Provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize network devices (routers, switches, and firewalls), ensuring a secure and efficient network environment.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Liaise with IT vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support of IT systems and services.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard company data.
- Conduct IT training sessions for employees to enhance their IT literacy.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT and networking, with a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, systems, and security.
- Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with IT best practices and compliance standards.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
